Quartz is a monthly queer art hang at the Art Gallery of Hamilton. It’s a drop-in, no-pressure space where 2-SLGBTQIA+ community members can show up, make things, and just be with no experience required. Now in its fourth year, Quartz has grown into a beloved fixture of Hamilton’s queer arts scene, with all creative direction and brand visuals designed in-house to reflect the community it serves.
Safer Spaces Project is reimagining what an arts institution can and should be. We developed a visual identity, website, and digital add-ons that live harmoniously alongside their Fringe and Industry partners. Balancing soft and clean with orderly and playful, making the hard conversations feel more approachable.
With a mission to make their packaging fully eco-friendly, we refreshed the UA brand with the goal to shake up what we typically see in the beauty industry. The result? 25+ collateral items that came together in all their quirky, sustainable glory.
