Welcome to the etherways

Maybe you’re exhausted trying to extract productivity from your creative practice or you’re performing the role of an artist under conditions that were never designed to inspire you. You’re tired of treating your creative practice like it needs to fit into a capitalist mould/appease the algorithm/insert shitty expectation here.

The in-between is the space where creativity is trying to reach you. Not in the urgency of hustle or metrics, but in receptivity, in the listening. The willingness to be still enough to hear the concepts waiting on the sidelines of creative consciousness, ready to work through you. As a creative vessel, ideas are already out there searching for you just as much as you’re searching for them.

Etherways is an attempt to explore creativity as frequency rather than function, and to practice flow rather than force. These notes will aim to help you reclaim your creative practice as messy, exploratory, and maybe even contradictory at times. How can we create the conditions for reception rather than production? Can we pursue our creative practice as an act of connection rather than a commodity?

We’re here to listen and channel, and to trust that ideas are waiting for us; we just have to be ready to receive them and get out of our own way. Let’s navigate the etherways together.
